Pregnant Woman Risks Life To Save Man From Burning Home

PREGNANT WOMAN RISKS LIFE

– In our lives, sometimes, instincts kick in despite the dangers that are in front of us.

Recently, a pregnant woman went viral after she risked her life and her unborn child’s to save another human being. While driving, Sara Maughan saw massive flames raze from a house several blocks away.

Immediately, the mother-to-be drove as fast as she could to help out. Even though she was already four-and-a-half months pregnant, her instincts kicked in and she decided to run to the home.

She ran up to the front and started yelling and banging at the door to ensure that there was nobody trapped inside. According to an article from Wral, Maughan said:

Probably not the best idea being pregnant, but I would hate to see the fire and know I didn’t do anything and somebody died

Luckily, the man living inside the home had fallen asleep whilst the home was being devoured by the flames. As per the article, she said that she hopes somebody would do the same for her family if something like that happens as well.

“I just want people to start caring about one another”, she added. Currently, authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
