10 Zambales schools chosen to pilot face-to-face classes in November

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–Ten schools in three towns of Zambales province have been selected for the pilot implementation of the face-to-face classes beginning Nov. 15, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced on Monday, Oct. 25.

These include the Belbel Elementary School, the Maguisguis Integrated School, the Nacolcol Integrated School, and the Palis Integrated School, all in Botolan town.

Also selected were the Owaog-Nebloc Elementary School and the Moraza Elementary School, both in Botolan; San Marcelino National High School and Baliwet Elementary School, both in San Marcelino; and the Banawen Elementary School in San Felipe town.

According to the DepEd, these schools were among the 28 schools in Luzon that will be allowed to conduct in-person classes after passing the granular risk assessment of the agency.

These schools were classified to have minimal or low risk for COVID-19 spread and were located mostly in remote areas.
