And just recently, in the recent episode of Showtime, Ruffa shared a story of her prom experience. Accordingly, instead of going out and attending the event with someone, her protective mother was the one who escorted her. Her escort supposed to be is the son of her father’s best friend because he asked for her but being the only girl in the family, her mother went all out when it comes to protecting her.

She has never experienced prom because of her mother. And because of having her mother as her date, she wasn’t able to enjoy the whole event. As she recalled it, she just stayed there for around five minutes and left. She added,

“Ganun talaga si Mommy noon. Lahat ng lakad ko pinupuntahan niya buti nga napagod na, right Mom?”

Ruffa also revealed no one dares go near her or show their intention to her because her mother would always block them. Annabelle would accordingly start a fight with each of the men who expressed admiration for her. But being a mother now of two girls, she hasn’t done the same thing because things were a lot different now compared to before.
