CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – As a precaution against the spread of COVID-19 during “Undas,” all public and private cemeteries and columbaries in the province of Nueva Ecija will be temporarily closed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 9, officials said on Monday, Oct. 18.

The restriction was contained in Resolution No. 7-2021 issued by the Nueva Ecija Inter-Agency Task Force (NEIATF) headed by Gov. Aurelio Umali.

According to the NEIATF, banning visits to these areas during this period would prevent the influx of people in cemeteries, especially during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
