Quezon cops arrest 3 drug suspects



LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three drug suspects in separate operations in Calauag town and Lucena City on Saturday.
The Calauag police reported that Emmanuel Monforte, 23, was arrested after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent in Barangay Rizal Ibaba at around 11:40 p.m. Seized from him were three plastic sachets of shabu worth an estimated P1,600.
In Lucena City, police nabbed Marvin Cordero, 19, in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Dalahican at around 5:15 p.m., Leuitenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, city police chief, said.
Authorities seized four sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of over P21,000.
Earlier, police agents also busted John Paulo Dacles, 33, in another drug sting operation in Barangay Ibabang Iyam also in this city.
Dacles yielded six sachets of shabu worth over P32,000.
The suspects were detained and are facing a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
