, actor Albert Martinez got involved in rumors about being in a relationship with Faith Da Silva, an actress who is almost 40 years younger than him. This rumor emerged six years after the death of his wife

. The veteran actor’s wife died in 2015 due to cancer. She was just 47 years old when she passed away. After his wife died, he remained loveless and continued to his work as an in-demand actor.

The rumors about the two emerged after their lock-in shooting for Las Hermanas. And speaking about this rumor, Da Silva has addressed the issue but not the narrative directly. She said in her


statement


that love knows no age as long as the feelings are true and the two persons love each other. She also admitted that she is close to the actor who she fondly calls “Direk Albert” and added,

“Para sa aming dalawa kasi, professional lamang lahat. Walang ilangan.”

And now, also addressing this issue, Martinez spoke about it but did not confirm or deny anything. Being in the show business for many decades already, he surely knows how things work and how to handle them. And for him, he believes that being involved in intrigue or an issue is all a part of the entertainment and it did not bother him.

“Yung sinasabi nila about Faith, I believe it worked for both of us because the chemistry was there. And siguro, I will feel bad if hindi nag-work yung chemistry because it’s my intention, to make sure na maging believable siya sa eyes ng public. Maging believable siya sa narrative and it worked,”

he said.

He then added that up until now, he is still in the part of grieving after losing his wife. He is open to the possibility of being with someone in the near future but according to a report from
