Dave Leitao, the former head coach at DePaul and Virginia, and retired eight-year NBA veteran Ryan Gomes will lead their respective namesake teams.

“The most exciting part of our schedule is going to be playing each other, getting under the lights in our building,” said Brandon Williams, OTE head of basketball of operations. We’re not hung up on specific teams right now. The reality is there just aren’t many teams that will look like us. That’s the real challenge in scheduling.”

The OTE teams will play against prep and postgraduate teams including Sunrise Christian Academy, Dream City Christian, Hillcrest Prep, Putnam Science Academy, and the Vertical Academy program that has five-star Mikey Williams.

OTE games will be played at the league’s facility in Atlanta but will also include away games in North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio, and Florida.

Lopez, who played for the Philippines in the Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers, will play with Amen Thompson, De’Vonte Cobbs, Kok Yat, Tyler Smith, Matt Bewley, Johned Walker, T.J. Clark, and Izan Almansa.
