Jake Cuenca Allegedly Involved in Car Chase W/ Police That Ended Up Getting a Grab Driver Shot

JAKE CUENCA – Hunk actor Jake Cuenca was allegedly involved in a police car chase that ended up getting a Grab driver shot.

On Saturday night, actor Jake Cuenca was

arrested after his sports utility vehicle (SUV) allegedly hit a police car

in Mandaluyong City. Eastern Police District (EPD) director Police Brigadier General Matthew Bacay told the reporters that the car of the actor did not stop so they chased it.

The incident happened at the corner of Shaw Boulevard and Meralco Avenue in Pasig City. The police official said inquest proceedings will be held on Sunday, October 10.

Matthew Bacay added that nothing illegal was however found inside Jake Cuenca’s car but it is now in their custody. He also said that a stray bullet was fired during the car chase that ended up a Grab driver shot.

A video of the incident was uploaded on El Theater’s FB page. It came with a caption,

“Mainit init na tsismis mga Mars! Jake Cuenca nyo nahuli ng pulis at nagkaputukan pa nga ng baril. May nadamay pa na grab driver sana makasurvive si kuya”

Matthew Bacay said cops tried to shot Jake Cuenca’s wheel during the chase, but it accidentally hit a Grab Driver. FB page Marth TV shared a video of the Grab driver who was allegedly hit by a stray bullet. It can be seen in the video that he is being rescued by an ambulance. Bacay said the driver was immediately brought to the hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.

“I have instructed the chief of police of Mandaluyong, [Police] Colonel Mel Unos to take care of all the needs of the victim,”

he said.
