Lost Dog Along SLEX Rescued by Authorities After Nearly Causing Accident

The authorities were able to rescue a lost dog roaming around the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), which nearly cause an accident.

A lost Japanese Spitz has been spotted along SLEX last weekend wherein the vehicles were moving fast. The dog is wandering and running along the congested road, which may cause vehicular accident along the expressway.

A concerned lady named Celine Magat has decided to video record the incident. She also expressed her concern towards the dog and uploaded it online to seek help from the authorities.

After a few moments, SLEX traffic enforcers saw the lost dog and stopped the traffic to rescue the fur. According to the enforcers, the dog jumped from the vehicle and its owner did not notice it.

“Somebody is in the possession of the dog tapos tumalon doon sa expressway. Som mabuti na lang at mayroon kaming patrol na nagroron doon sa South Luzon Expressway at nakita ‘yung aso,”

Skyway O&M Corporation Manuel Bonoan said.

Bonoan said that they are already searching for the fur owner and the video is already circulating on social media. He also advised the vehicle drivers to secure their pets to prevent similar incidents.

He also revealed that it was not the first time that the enforcers encountered such incidents.

“Make sure naka-secure po ‘yung pets ninyo. Minsan nagbubukas ng bintana ‘yung mga iba at right there and there nakakatalon din ‘yun, I don’t think this is the first time na nagkaroon kami ng ganitong incident. Unfortunately some of them actually hindi namin na-save,”
