On the other hand, during a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Cassy said that somehow she is making her own path in the entertainment industry, not completely alike with what her look alike mom did.

Well, I’m really, proud ako sa sarili ko because… I’m not really trying to follow my mom’s footsteps pero if I do… Wow, grabe

,” she said when told that she and her mom endorsed the same brand of shampoo. On the other hand, the young actress said that she can’t see herself having short hair as what Carmina had when she was younger.

In the same interview, Cassy Legaspi was also asked the possibility of joining beauty pageants. She was able to work with two beauty queens in her recently concluded soap opera

First Yaya

and they were Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2016 Maxine Medina and Miss Eco International 2018 This Thomalla.

Cassy shared that the two beauty queens told her that pageants really require hard work and dedication. “

And you think it’s all beauty-beauty, ganun lang, but it’s more than that. And I feel like… I’ll just give that na lang to them

,” she said.

The young actresses added that her grandfather Luto Legaspi used to say that his dream for her was to become a beauty queen. However, Cassy told her Lola that she does not see herself in the world of pageantry.She also said that she is not confident about it.

“

Well, parang… hindi pa ako confident pa sa mga ganun. I mean it’s an honor pero… we’ll never know. Bata pa po ako. So baka, baka next year? Wow!”

Cassy Legaspi quipped.
