Pinay Maid in Singapore Nabbed after Accused of Mixing Blood on Employer’s Food

Singapore authorities arrested a Pinay maid after she was accused of mixing menstrual blood and uring on her employer’s food.

According to the article, a Singaporean man went to court to file a case against his Filipina maid, accusing her of putting her menstrual blood and pee in his food. The employer claimed he discovered what her maid was up to after receiving a complaint from the woman’s ex-boyfriend, who informed him of the situation.

Rowena Ola Canares, 44, angrily refuted her employer’s charges, claiming that she lied to her lover about what she supposedly committed against her employer. The employer did not identify the specific date or time when Canares made the disgusting acts in his food.

Furthermore, it took a long time before the police report was submitted in December of 2019. Due to a gag order protecting his identity, Canares’ boss could not be identified as a software developer.

The order was made, according to the protection, because of the type of crime that could shame the victim’s family. According to the man’s evidence, Canares has worked as a maid for his family since May 2017 and there have been no complaints about her performance until the woman’s charges are exposed.

It fell to Canares to look after his boss’s children and prepare the family’s meals, from breakfast through lunch and dinner. She has complete freedom over the ingredients she uses in her dishes, and she occasionally cooks her own meals in addition to those prepared for her boss’s family.

When questioned why he filed a complaint, the employer said he received a message from an unknown number at 11:14 p.m. on December 15, 2019, but he recognized the person in the display photo on his cellphone, which Canares had previously given him, as the ex-boyfriend of his housemaid.

Canares’ ex-boyfriend died of cancer shortly after filing the complaint. Before his death on January 20 of last year, an investigator working on the case spoke with Canares’ ex-boyfriend and recorded his statement.

The young man said he had nothing to do with the incident. Canares’ case will be heard again, and if she is found guilty, she could face a sentence of two years in prison, a fine, or both, according to a court official.
