Davao Oriental Hit by Earthquake with 3.2 Magnitude
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 3.2 magnitude quake in Davao Oriental, August 24, 2021.
Most of the time, quakes hit with no prior signs. Recently, several places in and out of the Philippines were shaken by quakes of different magnitudes.
Previously, in April 22, Phivolcs recorded a quake in a part of Zambales. It had a magnitude of 6.1. Strong shaking was felt leaving people fearing about the so-called “

Recently, a quake has hit a part of Davao Oriental, August 24, 2021. At 02:22 a.m., Baganga was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2.
According to Phivolcs, the quake that hit a part of Davao Oriental was located at 07.66°North, 126.46°East – 015 km North 50° West of Baganga a depth of origin of 009 kilometers.
stated in its bulletin that no damage is expected of the said quake and as well as aftershocks. No intensity was recorded by the agency in the epicenter of the quake and its nearby areas.
