Pops Fernandez went through a lot when it comes to her relationship with younger men

shared her experience in having a relationship with younger men and she said she went through a lot.

In an Inquirer interview in 2013, Pops admitted that she prefers dating younger men and one of the reported boyfriends of the singer was former ramp model Brad Turvey. She also shared in that interview that her sons are not against it and they are fine with it as long as she is happy.

However, there were times that having this kind of relationship brought sadness to Pops. In a recent vlog of celebrity doctor

, who is also married to a younger man, they talked about this topic.

The beauty expert said that women like them who have relationships with younger men are often misjudged but if it is the other way around, other people have nothing to say.

Pops Fernandez added. The singer-actress admitted that she went through this kind of situation.

“I felt like, pinipilit ko ‘yung partner ko,”

she said.

Vicki added that there were those who are thinking that it is all about money and Pops answered this with jest.

“First of all, I don’t offer money. I’m kuripot,”

she said and added that even guys are being judged also for having relationships with older women.

They don’t see it as an honest-to-goodness relationship. I went through a lot of that and I cried about those things also,”

Pops Fernandez said.

On the other hand, the signer-actress said that she is currently single and she realized that her belief that she needs a man in her life to be happy is not really true. She is now happy with her family, with her two sons.
