Canadian Soldier Arrested After Found Guilty Drugging Colleagues by Cupcake with Drugs

CANADIAN SOLDIER CUPCAKE – A lady officer faces five years of imprisonment after she was found guilty of drugging colleagues by baking cupcakes with cannabis.

After allegedly quarreling with fellow soldiers, a Canadian soldier was sentenced to five years in prison for handing them a cupcake containing only cannabis. When the soldiers complained of being disoriented and drunk at Canada’s Gagetown base in New Brunswick in July 2019, they were unaware that they had already eaten a cupcake laced with cannabis.

They are also thought to be concerned about being in possession of a weapon. Bombardier Chelsea Cogswell was found guilty of 8 counts of providing poisonous material to soldiers without leave and one count of “disgraceful behavior,” according to the military in an interview with Agence France-Presse.

It produced chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing and a jelly bean on top, and handed them to other soldiers in the middle of their explosives training, based on what was written about Cogswell’s trial. The incident occurred three months before cannabis was legalized in Canada for recreational use.

Cogswell, on the other hand, is said to have a medicinal marijuana prescription. A cupcake wrapper determined to have amounts of THC, the principal psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, and urine samples submitted by the soldiers were analyzed by military police.

Prosecutors claim that the motive for doing so was possibly a disagreement with coworkers. From Nov. 16 to 19, a hearing on her verdict will be held.
