Pampanga logs 110 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths

MABALACAT CITY – Pampanga registered 110 new COVID-19 cases and eight deaths on Saturday, June 19.

The provincial government’s latest bulletin showed that the COVID-19 fatalities include two residents of Floridablanca town, two from Macabebe, a resident of City of San Fernando, and one each from the towns of Apalit, Arayat and Sta. Rita.

Pampanga has so far logged a total of 20,068 COVID-19 cases, including 2,189 active infections, 16,917 recoveries and 953 deaths.

The figures do not include the 20 new cases and single death in Angeles City, a highly urbanized city which is fiscally and politically independent from Pampanga.

Angeles City has recorded a total of 6,361 cases, 347 of them still active, and 5,724 recoveries.

The city has registered 290 deaths as of June 19.
