BACOLOD CITY––The Negrosan Youth for Panfilo “Ping” Lacson urged the senator to run for president in 2022.

In a press conference Saturday here, Romeo Castillo Jr., co-convenor of the group, appealed to Lacson not to retire, and to instead carry on his advocacies by running for president.

“We believe Senator Ping Lacson carries the cry of every Filipino”, said the group whose members come from different youth groups in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

“Please continue to safeguard the Philippine national budget, please continue to fight massive corruption in the government, especially by exposing sinister plans to take advantage of the pandemic,” they added.
