PNP logs 64 new COVID-19 cases; total now at 25,714

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Sunday reported 64 new COVID-19 cases among officers within its ranks.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases within the force to 25,714 as of June 13, according to the PNP health service.

There are currently 1,791 active cases in this number and 23,853 recoveries (112 new).

The death toll, on the other hand, stayed at 70 as no new deaths have been reported.

Meanwhile, as of Saturday, the Department of Health reported that the country has so far logged a total of 1,308,352 COVID-19 cases, including 1,225,359 recoveries, 60,341 active cases and 22,652 deaths.
