Over P340K shabu seized in Bulacan buy-bust, 2 suspects arrested

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–Police seized more than P340,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from two drug suspects arrested in a buy-bust operation in Marilao, Bulacan Friday night.


Police Colonel Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police chief, said 50 grams of shabu were seized from Vhen Symond Olfindol, 28, and Gerry De Guzman, a cellphone technician, at a house in Villa Roma 5 in Barangay Lias at about 10 p.m.

Olfindol is in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and police illegal drugswatch list, Cajipe said.

Also confiscated from the duo were drug-using items and marked peso bills used in the operation.

The suspects are now under police custody will face a formal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
