Trisha Denise’s turn to shine
After writing songs for the heavy-hitters likes of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and Moira dela Torre (“Unbreakable”), Jake Zyrus (“Diamond,” “Love Even If”) and Iñigo Pascual (“Mr. Nice Guy,” it’s singer-songwriter Trisha Denise’s turn to seize the spotlight.
Last weekend, Trisha released her full-length album “Piece of the Puzzle,” which features eight original tracks that showcase the voice of the singer behind the talented songwriter.
The title track “Piece of the Puzzle,” according to the DNA Music artist, was partly inspired by people’s tendency to judge someone based only on what they see on social media. “But no one has the license to define us after seeing only a piece of the puzzle,” Trisha says.
Trisha’s repertoire also examines love and heartbreak.
The track listing also includes self-penned tunes like “Bakit Ba,” “Mahalin,” “Puwede Ba?” (featuring rapper Arvey), “Miss na Miss” (with Dan Ombao), “Alalahaning Kalimutan,” “Strangers” and “Ang Totoo.”
