Filipinos did the best to make things work amidst the pandemic such as learning new skills aside from staying at home. But over a year into the quarantines, it is undeniable that everyone missed the times when all can safely go out, fly and travel to fun places to see some of the Philippines’ world-class beaches and historical sites with family and friends.
Slowly and safely, domestic tourism is getting back on track. However, there are travellers that are still unsure of their trip dates especially that the current situation of the country is fluid. For this reason, Cebu Pacific, in celebration of its 25th anniversary, comes up with another innovative product to address everyone’s need for utmost flexibility, coupled with the lowest fares.
Introducing another first-of-its-kind product that will let travelers buy all they can, and fly when they can across the Philippines’ leading carrier’s widest domestic network – the CEB Super Pass.
For only P99 (one-way base fare), CEB Super Pass travel voucher may be used in any Philippine destination in Cebu Pacific’s widest domestic network from May 12, 2021 to May 31, 2022. This limited-time offer is available only for one week, starting today (May 5) until May 12.
“On our 25th anniversary, the CEB Super Pass is a timely option for guests who would want to travel whenever they want, wherever they want in the country, at a guaranteed low fare. With the widest network in the Philippines, we offer this one-of-a-kind product that enables us to fulfill our commitment of providing fast connectivity and value-for-money deals for ‘everyJuan’,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience, during its media launch.
How to purchase
Purchasing the CEB Super Pass can be done in just four easy steps: Go to https://bit.ly/CEBSuperPass, input the number of passes, add passenger names, and pay.
Payment may be settled via existing Travel Funds, or other online payment options such as credit cards. Once successful, CEB Super Pass will be sent via email, for keeping until there’s already a place and date in mind.
“Seat availability is revenue-managed in the same way that when you booked a Piso Sale or P100 Peso Sale so there’s an allocation of fare class. But right now, we’re trying to encourage people to fly again and part of it is ensuring that we have these low fare buckets that are available for people to book,” Iyog explained.
Meanwhile, when it comes to fees and other charges, she pointed out, “The P99 is the base fare. So if you book it, there’s the usual admin fee just like in the Piso Sale. And then that’s it. You guarantee the base fare already. When you redeem the flight, it depends on the city fare you choose for your redemption. Say it’s Manila to Cebu, and then the terminal fee will be assessed when you book your flight from Manila to Cebu. That’s the only other thing that you will be assessed.”
How to redeem
Booking the CEB Super Pass can be done via the “Redeem CEB Super Pass” tab on the website as early as 30 days before the flight’s departure or until seven days before intended flight date, as long as seats are still available. Vouchers may be redeemed from May 5, 2021 to May 24, 2022, for travel between May 12, 2021 and May 31, 2022.
If the flight booked under CEB’s Super Pass gets cancelled because of the fluidity of the current Covid-19 situation now, Iyog noted, “Just like our current flights, because the situations are fluid and flight gets cancelled, the flexibility that is provided today for our regular tickets is also provided to those who book using CEB Super Pass. It is refundable and rebookable – same rules applied as our regular booked flight.”
Guests will also be able to purchase and redeem this pass via the “CEB Super Pass” banner on the Cebu Pacific website or mobile app. A maximum of ten vouchers per transaction is allowed, however there is no limit to the number of total vouchers each passenger can avail – allowing everyone to stock up on these vouchers as they see fit.
“You can get as much as 10 CEB Super Passes per transaction but we’re not limiting how many times you can come back or number of transactions per passenger. Just remember, it is not transferrable and you have to assign the CEB Super Pass to a person you’re travelling with at the time of purchase of the CEB Super Pass. As domestic travel recovers, we will continue to add more flights and frequencies where you can use your CEB’s Super Pass,” Iyog explained.
Cebu Pacific currently flies to 32 domestic destinations, mainly from its hubs in Manila and Cebu.
“We are excited to get people out of their homes again, of course by travelling safely or maybe wait till they get their vaccine which is already rolling out. It is one of the few things that we planned last years as part of our 25th anniversary offerings. We want to focus on ‘Juan Love Philippines.’ Let’s help domestic tourism recover,” Iyog said in ending.
