227 more medical frontliners vaccinated with Sputnik V in Manila

ABOUT 227 health care workers from local and national government hospitals were inoculated with the Russian-made vaccine Sputnik V at the Sta. Ana Hospital in Manila on Wednesday.

The hospital also said 200 more were expected to get inoculated later in the day.

No adverse effects were reported by recipients from the first rollout on Tuesday, the hospital confirmed.

As of posting time, 75 percent of Sta. Ana hospital’s own healthcare workers  have been inoculated against Covid-19.

On Monday, Manila received 3,000 doses of Sputnik V from the national government.

The Department of Health (DoH) said another 485,000 doses are expected to arrive at the end of May.
