Veteran singer Gary Valenciano happily announced that his wife, Angeli Pangilinan, is finally free of the novel coronavirus after getting infected last month.
“It was a scare because she did have it indeed but my wife Angeli is finally free of [COVID-19],” Valenciano said on Instagram earlier today, April 3.
Valenciano previously disclosed that Pangilinan got infected along with two other staff members in their home. While Valenciano tested negative, he still went under quarantine.
“The Lord took care of us as I never got it even if I was exposed to her on the day the test result came to her. Three people got [COVID-19] in our home all at the same time but all are now negative,” Valenciano shared.
“I really really can’t thank you enough for all the prayers you sent our way,” he added. “We love you and may Jesus become real in your lives the way He has become the truth in ours.”
Even before Pangilinan’s recovery, the longtime couple had been optimistic that the wife would pull through as none of them showed any symptoms.
True enough, Pangilinan and the two staff members have all recovered in less than a month, while Valenciano remains uninfected. /ra
