SC condemns killings of lawyers, judges

THE Supreme Court on Tuesday condemned the ruthless killings of judges and lawyers.

In a statement, the high tribunal, through its spokesman and lawyer Brian Hosaka, said that any killing is not tolerated by law and with much sadness for every member of the bench and the bar.

Hosaka said the public is urged to report any threat or harassment against a lawyer or judge to the court’s Public Information Office and for police to wear body cameras when implementing warrants.

It also condemns the red tagging of judges who rendered decisions in favor of left-leaning individuals or organizations.
