“Asahan po natin ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa buong kapulungan (We can expect warm and humid weather in the entire country.),” Philippine, Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa)weather specialist Shelly Ignacio said in an early morning update.

“May mga inaasahan po tayo na isolated na pag-ulan o mga biglaang pagbuhos ng pag-ulan, ngunit ito po ay panandalian lamang,” she added.

(We can expect isolated, sudden and brief periods of rain showers.)

Hence, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the weather specialist said.
