Grammy performers: Taylor Swift, BTS, Cardi B, Billie Eilish
NEW YORK: Taylor Swift, BTS, Cardi B and Billie Eilish will perform at the Grammy Awards on March 14.
The Recording Academy announced that Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa will also hit the stage. The show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Trevor Noah is hosting the show for the first time. Other performers include Chris Martin, John Mayer, Doja Cat, and HAIM among others.
Beyoncé is the leading nominee with nine, followed by Swift, Lipa and Ricch, who each earned six nominations.
Meghan: talk with Oprah without royals’ input ‘liberating’
LOS ANGELES: Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey how “liberating” it was to have a conversation without royal minders.
“As an adult [with] a really independent life to then go into [something] different, it’s really liberating [to have] the right and the privilege [to] say yes,” Meghan told Winfrey.
Meghan felt it right to be interviewed now because of the couple’s freedom.
“We’re on the other side of a lot [that’s happened,]” Meghan said. “We have the ability to make our own choices in a way that I couldn’t [say] yes to you then. That wasn’t my choice to make.”
EL James’ ‘Freed,’ as told by Christian Grey, coming in June
Christian Grey is tying up his side of the story. Freed: Fifty Shades Freed as told by Christian is set to hit shelves on June 1, publisher Bloom Books imprint of Sourcebooks said.
The book is the conclusion to author E. L. James’ trilogy from Christian’s point of view. Previous books include Grey and Darker.
“For me, just as for Anastasia Steele, Christian is a challenging, infuriating, and endlessly fascinating character,” James said. “Living in his head is exhausting, but I got to explore aspects of his life in Freed that we only glimpsed in the original trilogy.”
